Then set your imagination free at a series of writing workshops for teens being held at the John Steinbeck Library, 350 Lincoln Ave. The free workshops are open to any teen ages 13-18. The series will begin on Saturday, March 19th and continue every Saturday through April 16th. Each session will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

I am a debut young adult author with my novel, The Pull of Gravity, coming out this May from FSG (Macmillan). The Pull of Gravity follows two teens who, armed only with the wisdom of Yoda and a rare, first-edition copy of Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, set out on a secret, whirlwind journey to keep a promise to their dying friend. I plan to visit Salinas in the early fall (for an author event at the National Steinbeck Center) and maybe I could pop in for a Teen Writing workshop?!? :) You can see the book trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vA5S51glK_I and contact me through my website: http://gaepolisner.com
Also, my Kirkus review is here: http://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/childrens-books/gae-polisner/pull-gravity/ :)
